Judy Holm is a producer and writer with many years experience in the film industry. The decade prior to 1999, she was a feature film distribution executive. From 1995 to 1999, Holm was the Vice President of Theatrical Distribution for PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, Canada. Since August 1999, Ms. Holm has been working with her husband, Michael McNamara, to develop and produce provocative, informative, and entertaining documentary, narrative television programs and feature films. Her film, WRINKLE, was broadcast on CBC Newsworld's Rough Cuts documentary series in January of 2001. WRINKLE was from an original idea by Ms. Holm, and she went on to be the associate producer, writer and narrator.

In February of 2002, McNamara and Holm launched a new production company, Markham Street Films. The first project to be produced by the new company was RADIO REVOLUTION: The Rise & Fall of The Big 8 for History Television. Holm won the 2004 Gemini Award for Best History Documentary Program or Series as the producer. She followed up by producing, starring in and narrating FLATLY STACKED, an exploration and celebration of the less-well-endowed woman in an era of voluptuousness for TVOntario and The Documentary Channel. She then produced and narrated MEET THE SUMDEES, a P.O.V. exploration of a cross-cultural marriage for Vision TV, PENIS DEMENTIA: The Search for the Perfect Penis and STACKED LIKE ME: Walk a Mile in My Double-D's for Discovery Health, Life Network, Canal Vie and SBS Australia. In 2003, Ms. Holm produced GENUINE ARTICLE: The First Trial with director David Bezmozgis for The Documentary Channel and W Network, and in 2005 the 9X30min HD series DRIVEN BY VISION for Vision TV.

Judy Holm has produced the feature length documentary 100 FILMS & A FUNERAL for The Documentary Channel, Sundance Channel and AVRO, and she is currently producing Season 2 of DRIVEN BY VISION for VisionTV. The feature length documentary ACQUAINTED WITH THE NIGHT is in development.
