FANBOY CONFESSIONAL: The Secret World of Pop Culture Obsessives

To qualify for a Fanboy Confessional portrait, the Candidate must be at the top of his (or her) game – the definitive collector, the top trivia statistician, the highest scoring gamer – a “Fanboy’s Fanboy”.  Through the course of the episode we will encounter other like-minded colleagues and fellow Fanboys from all walks of life. 

Each episode will delve into the object of the Fanboy’s obsession, to reveal the inside world, the legends and “Holy Grails” of that particular culture: an original prop phaser for the Star Trek Fanboy, a signed and dated script for the Battlestar Galactica Fanboy,  and for the Gamer Fanboy a fabled golden Nintendo World Championships 1990 cart (one sold in an online auction last year for $21,400!)

There are millions of self-professed obsessive nerds around the world. And there are millions of bored girlfriends, wives, family members, friends and fellow workers who have always been curious about what makes these guys tick. Fanboy Confessional has the answers!
